"The greatest cause of behavioural problems that I see today is due to the humanisation of our canine friends.  We treat our dogs like children and try to manage them by applying human psychology to them.  We expect them to think like we do and act like we expect them to act.  Unfortunately, this will only create problems and can lead to things such as dog aggression, human aggression, fearfulness and destructive tendencies.

Owners have a limited knowledge and understanding of their body language and what they are telling us in certain situations and this lack of understanding leads to all sorts of problems developing.

I work closely with owners and their dogs on a one to one basis to modify problem behaviours.  I work with them in their homes and out and about to address issues and train owners on how to communicate effectively with their dogs.

We all want a happy co-existence with our companions and it is my goal and mission to ensure that this happens".
